Vista is a unique, community-based educational program for young adults with neurological disabilities. We offer vocational training, life skills instruction, counseling and support services designed to enable our students to succeed in work and to live independently.
Fulfilling everyday dreams - a meaningful job, a home of one's own, a positive place in the world - are the goals of Vista's programs. We work individually and closely with each student to design an appropriate program in a nurturing community setting.
At Vista, a person’s disability, whether it is called a learning disability, epilepsy, an autism spectrum disorder, or traumatic brain injury is not the defining factor for the individual. While we acknowledge its existence, we look to the spirit, talents and hopes of our students and members. For these are where potential and promise lie and where future success is imminent.
Vista’s campus includes five communities along the shoreline of south central Connecticut. These lovely New England towns provide the safe, convenient, scenic environment our students and members thrive in as they gain the skills to live as productive members of the local community. Midway between the cities of Boston and New York, Vista’s location offers many local and regional resources and attractions, as well as proximity to metropolitan areas.
Your interest in Vista is appreciated, and we encourage you to explore our website and to contact us for further information. We're proud of our students and members and their accomplishments!
