- Do you know someone, or work somewhere that gives to underwrite certain initiatives or projects? These kinds of internal introductions are very valuable to helping Vista secure these gifts.
- Don’t forget that many companies will match their employee’s contributions to charities. So if you give to Vista, your company may match your gift.
- Vista has fundraising events throughout the year, and asking your friends and associates to support Vista through these events provides a greater benefit than just the dollars that are received. It also helps spread awareness of the needs of disabled adults, and the good works of Vista. There is a variety of fun things to do that all support Vista services. Each person’s most precious commodity is their time. Vista greatly appreciates when our supporters make this type of gift, through sharing their expertise on Vista’s ongoing committees, through volunteering, and gifts in kind.

Committees: Vista has many committees that convene at varying intervals to challenge themselves to constantly be finding the best methods of providing quality services to our students and members. Vista, like any organization, faces many opportunities to continue to be innovative in its programs and services. Vista greatly benefits from the expertise and point of view of constituents who participate on committees that are tackling those challenges.

Volunteering: Vista develops individualized volunteer opportunities tailored to meet the needs of the volunteer and Vista. Vista has had volunteer opportunities from interns working towards degrees completing special projects, to community members sharing their talents with students and members. Vista encourages the support of those willing to volunteer their time and talents.
